Mr. Christopher Williams has over 8+ years of experience in higher education with 6 of those years within the California Community College system. Christopher Williams currently serves as the Assistant Professor/Counselor at Riverside City College in Southern California. Chris has served as the SSSP Coordinator/Counselor at San Bernardino Valley College and Professor/Counselor at College of the Desert and has won numerous awards for student advocacy. Chris has also served as an Academic Advisor at University of California, Riverside.
In addition, Chris is a part of numerous community organizations throughout the state that focus on African American Male Success. He is a mentor to many students throughout the California Community College system and continues to strategize on innovative ways of improving graduation and retention rates for men of color. Chris is an active member of the African American Male Education Network and Development (A²MEND) organization. Chris has completed his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Cal State San Bernardino, His Master of Science in Educational Counseling from University of La Verne and currently completing his dissertation in Educational Psychology from La Sierra University.
